Redesigning the interior of the "Beloglinka" café in the heart of the city became a comprehensive project for our studio to update a commercial space. Irina Tsoy came to us looking for professional café interior design that would highlight the venue's personality and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests. Our main task was to deliver a complete café design project with a well-developed concept, thoughtful layout, and full procurement to follow.

The project sits in a historic riverside district, which called for special attention to its context. In designing this café, we drew on the neighborhood's historical setting and the river running through it. The project's name emerged during the concept work and became part of the space's identity. This approach to the café let us create not just an updated interior, but a cohesive brand story.

The work covered the full cycle: concept development, layout planning, an original café design project, material and furniture selection, lighting, and full procurement. One of the key architectural moves in the café's interior design was merging the first and second floors. This created a single commercial space with logical zoning and easy navigation for guests.

The café's interior design is built on a blend of industrial aesthetics and warm, homey accents. White exposed brick, open overhead utilities, and concrete texture form a modern, loft-style commercial interior. At the same time, natural wood, soft leather sofas, and warm-toned textiles create an atmosphere where guests feel right at home. That was exactly the brief from the client for this café design project — to create the feeling of "visiting friends."

The bar became the centerpiece of the café's design, with a striking decorative front. Contrasting colors, a geometric rhythm, and statement pendant lights create a memorable visual identity. In a commercial interior, aesthetics matter, but so does function — so the floor plan supports several different seating scenarios: tables for two, sofa groupings, and a bar area by the window. This kind of café interior design boosts guest comfort and directly affects the venue's bottom line.

Special attention in this café design project went to lighting. Layered lighting creates different moods — from a daytime coffee-shop feel to an intimate evening atmosphere. This is a key part of modern café design, and it directly shapes how guests perceive the space and how long they stay.
