This design project for a 4,090 sq. ft. country house, done in a modern style with chalet elements, is our example of how modern interior design can be adapted to a private family's way of life. The house was conceived as a space of balance: the ground floor is for socializing and hosting guests, while the second floor is more intimate, with mountain views and private zones.
The concept is built on a blend of a bright, modern base with chalet elements and soft neoclassic touches. Warm wood, a pastel palette, and tactile textures form a calm backdrop for the book collections and live plants to stand out against. The project was delivered with full interior procurement and integrated smart-home systems.
The layout was planned back at the construction stage. The ground floor combines a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen-dining area, and a spa zone. The space is organized around different scenarios: hosting guests, family evenings, yoga, and working at a dedicated craft table. In the relaxation zone, a large plaster relief panel with a botanical pattern became the focal point — its sculptural texture works as both an art piece and an architectural anchor.
The second floor is the owners' private territory. The bedrooms are oriented toward the view, with walk-in closets, workspaces, and en-suite bathrooms. Storage is mostly concealed, reflecting the clients' request for visual order.

The interior takes a modern spin on chalet style: walnut-veneer ceiling beams, warm lighting, and a large, soft seating group from O'prime that seats 6–8. A neutral sofa is paired with a deep green accent chair. Low, solid-wood coffee tables emphasize the horizontal lines of the space.
The project included full interior procurement and delivery of the design with an integrated smart home: heated floors, inverter-based climate control, a master switch, motorized curtains, staircase lighting, and security systems. The space is tailored to the owners' lifestyle — with a yoga area, storage for collections, and thoughtfully planned utility spaces.
This country-house interior design shows how a modern interior can be highly personalized without becoming overloaded with form. The space serves the owners' way of life — restrained, high-tech, and respectful of nature.
